This privacy policy explains how Stonzo handles your personal data when you use the Stonzo website (stonzo.com) and the Stonzo for Business app.
Stonzo is operated by its founders, Hitesh Kumar and Rupesh Taneja, based in India (address: Ward No. 2, Siwani Mandi, Bhiwani, Haryana 127046, India). Our operations are in Kishangarh, Rajasthan.
Stonzo helps buyers find marble and granite slabs in stock at Kishangarh factories and contact those factories directly. Factories use the Stonzo for Business app to list their stock and reply to buyers.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Stonzo” mean the founders named above. “You” means anyone who uses the Stonzo website or the Stonzo for Business app.
If you run a factory on Stonzo, we also collect:
We do not buy personal data or collect it from other sources.
We use your data to:
For factories, we also use it to publish your page and listings, to tag your slab photos so buyers can find them by photo, to suggest a short description when you tap Write for me, and to bring you buyers' enquiries and messages.
We use your data only for these purposes. If we ever want to use it for something new, we will ask you first.
Stonzo uses AI provided by Google Cloud to read photos. For buyers, it finds stones that look similar to a photo you search with. For factories, it tags slab photos so buyers can find them by photo search, and suggests a short description when you tap Write for me.
We use these service providers to run Stonzo:
We share data with these providers only to run Stonzo. We use them under terms that require them to protect your data at least as well as this policy does. They may not use it for their own advertising.
We don't sell or rent your personal details to anyone.
Our providers store and process some data outside India, for example in the United States and Singapore. The protections in this policy apply wherever your data is processed.
While your account is open:
| Data | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Your account, details and listings | Until you delete them or your account |
| Photo searches | Until you remove them or delete your account |
| Security records (sign-in logs, contact views) | 180 days, then deleted |
When your account is deleted, we delete straight away:
Messages you sent are hidden from everyone straight away. Factories or buyers you messaged see “Deleted user”.
What we keep for 180 days after deletion, then delete:
| Record | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Registration record | Phone number, name, business name and GST number (factories), account dates, and the reason for any delisting |
| Conversation copy | A private copy of your conversations |
| Security records | Sign-in logs and contact views |
Why we keep these:
If an account is under investigation or has an open complaint, we keep the related records until the matter is closed. After that, we keep them only as long as the law requires.
Copies in our backups are removed within 30 days.
You can delete your account yourself. You don't need to call or email us.
Buyers (website): My account → Delete account → Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Factories (Stonzo for Business app): Profile → Delete account, then enter the one-time code sent to your login number. Your account is deleted straight away, and the app confirms when it's done. Your factory page and listings disappear from Stonzo at the same moment.
Can't use the app or your account? Ask at stonzo.com/delete-account. We check that the phone number is yours, delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by WhatsApp or phone.
After deletion:
No online service can promise perfect security. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Stonzo is meant for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, write to support@stonzo.com and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For important changes, we will tell you on the website and in the app before they take effect.
